Jeff Bezos: Katie and Lexi

For your comments on Presentations:

First, write about something well done.  What did you learn from this group?  What part of the Presentation seemed the best?  Be specific, and use a specific example from the Presentation and your notes.

Second, offer constructive criticism that would help this group. What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Be specific.

  1. One thing that was well done in this presentation was the information on who Jeff Bezos is. Before today I was not familiar with him at all or even knew that he was the creator/owner of Amazon which is a widely used website by many people. One critique about this presentation was that your voices could have been louder. When presenting the information, your voices seemed quieter and harder to hear.

  2. I knew nothing about this guy until this presentation. I learned a lot from this and one thing specially was that he was the starter of amazon. I thought the best part of the presentation was how you guys went back and forth between the two of you. I couldn't find anything that you guys could do better i thought it was great.

  3. I thought your presentation was very interesting. I love amazon and use it all the time! The company is so innovative and I thought you did a great job on showing that with the drones. The constructive criticism I have is that it did not seem like both people in the group knew the information about him, only the part they had to speak about. Overall, it was very informative!

  4. I thought that your back and forth talking was perfect! It went seamlessly and was just well done.

That being said, I do think one of you may have known more about the topic than the other one.

  6. This presentation was really good. I liked that you talked about Jeff working at Mc Donald's and working up to where he is today. I would have liked to know a what some of his inspirations were for creating amazon and his other accomplishments.

  7. Good presentation on the CEO of Amazon, it is an amazing company that is relevant to all of us as we have all made purchases from it.

The least polished part was you mentioned he did something with aeronautics and rockets but did not add much information on it because you focused more on the drones.

  8. One of the facts that I found interesting about the presentation was that he purchased the washington post in order to improve it. I feel this very well shows his visionary attitude.

as presenters you did an excellent job with your flow and professionalism, especially in the lack of filling words such as like or um. As pair the presentation did seem to need more practice in order to improve the flow.

  9. It was very interesting to know that he started Amazon. I can see how his vision of keeping his company alive, means a lot to him. The presentation was well organized and each person spoke evenly on this subject.

  10. I thought you did a good job with your power point and making sure that the bullet points were short and not too many. I learned more about Jeff. I did not realize that he was passionate about space and with the news. I think you did a good job picking out the important parts about him, like the Amazon drones. You did well not read too much from the slides and going purely off of your memory.

I would have liked to know more about what or who helped to start his dream of Amazon and Blue Origin.

  11. I think you guys distributed speaking about information very well. I think you guys did really good with adding information to what was on her slides and knowing what she was talking about.
For improvement maybe speak more confidently and make sure everyone in your group knows the information they are trying to inform us about.

  12. This was a really good presentation, one thing I found really interesting was that he started in his garage! Thought just made me think of how much Amazon has grown. If there was one thing add, I would suggest that you maybe add more about what made him want to start the company.

  13. I found this to be a very interesting presentation. I think I found it so interesting because I knew what Amazon was but I had no idea that this was the man behind the company. I respect that he was a self made man and he did so with new and intriguing ideas. If I have to pick something to critique, it would be about the amount of information about the products that he invented. I know most people know about the products but that's where I felt there could be a little more detail.

  15. I enjoyed learning about the risks he took and the work that he is still doing on the drones. The overall organization was easy to follow. One criticism is that a few things got repeated a bit too much.

  16. I ordered something off of amazon today so that was a significant part of my day as well as your presentation. You guys did a really good job. I liked the video about drone delivery because they even gave a bug that needed fixed. He knew that the functions weren't really ready. I think that something that you could've focused on was the Washington post. Maybe you said it and I wasn't listening. GREAT JOB!

  17. This presentation was very well put together and easy to follow. I enjoyed how they started their presentation by getting the audience to interact with them. It definitely woke me up and got me into the listening groove. Something I think that could be fixed is maybe preparing a little more to avoid using so many fill-words such as "like". This is just a minor detail of an overall well preformed and researched presentation.
